Concept

Fibonacci Circles

The Fibonacci Circles collection shows arrangements of circles whose diameter corresponds to the Fibonacci numbers. The diameter of a circle is therefore the sum of the diameters of the next two smaller circles. The colored areas grow as the square of the Fibonacci numbers.

Only semicircles are used in the Semi-Circles series.

Fibonacci Cello

In the Fibonacci Cello work, the semicircles are arranged along a black line, alternating between left and right. The arc of the next larger semicircle begins opposite the centre of the smaller semicircle.

The semicircles are coloured with a red gradient that changes from light to dark as they increase in size. A gradient is also visible within each semicircle, starting with the colour of its predecessor and transitioning to a darker red.

Only the origin of the Fibonacci series, where everything begins, like the Big Bang, is coloured gold.
