Harmony
For centuries, Fibonacci numbers and their close relative, the golden ratio, have been a subject of fascinating interest not only to mathematicians, but also to architects, biologists, botanists, designers, poets, composers, artists, psychologists and people in general. In nature itself, the Fibonacci sequence occurs in unexpected ways, for example in sunflowers, pine cones, pineapples and other plants.
Evidently, Fibonacci numbers and their proportions evoke a sense of harmony and balance in many people from a wide variety of professions, as well as in nature.
I bring this harmony to life in my works in many different ways.

Exhibited Works
The exhibition displays a wide selection of Fibonacci art pictures and sculptures as well as the TESSANDA Fibonacci scarves.
New and on display for the first time are the pictures Fibonacci Cello and Fibonacci Scarf. The latter was the starting point for the design of a hand-woven Fibonacci silk scarf in close and harmonious collaboration with the TESSANDA hand weaving mill in Val Müstair. Their TESSANDA Fibonacci scarves will also be on display.
Mathematics, art and craftsmanship are magically interwoven in the silk scarves. Four Fibonacci sequences are woven into the pattern. The result is a timeless and valuable accessory. The scarves are available in four colours in the TESSANDA shop – a wonderful and harmonious Christmas gift.
