Pop-up Gallery Belsito

Where: Belsitostrasse 19, 8645 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland

When: 16 - 17 November & 07 - 08 Dezember 2024

I am delighted to invite you to a double exhibition together with the well-known Rapperswil photographer and friend Markus Gisler.

Markus Gisler

The former journalist and Cash chief curator Markus Gisler has been intensively involved with photography since his early youth. He has been exhibiting his work regularly since 2005 and it is included in numerous collections. The Engadiner Post wrote about an exhibition at Suvretta House in 2012:

‘Gisler’s paintings radiate coolness as well as meditative calm. They show the timeless force of the mountain world, where tranquillity and restlessness coexist and where longings are awakened, which the photographic magician provokes with his well-considered image staging.’

Be inspired by his website and experience his visual worlds live at the exhibition in his living spaces. He shows pictures of magical, ancient trees, enchanted forests, breathtaking landscapes, the spray of waterfalls and seas, as well as Italian cathedrals.

Exhibited works

For the first time I am exhibiting the two sculptures Fibonacci Pyramid and Fibonacci Matryoshka. Also included is my latest painting Curved Kite Magic Tree and other paintings and sculptures. Come by and be enthralled.

Opening hours

16 – 17 November
07 – 08 December 2024

In the spirit of an open house, the exhibition is accessible to everyone during opening hours.
